“You don’t mind other roommates, do you?” Maverick asks as they walk in the direction of the house she shares with Twinkle and Robbin. “I have two. Twinkle is kind of a straight edge and Robbin’s too nice for her own good, but they can both cook and clean.”
“No, not at all. In fact, having some more company might be pretty fun!”
Maverick shrugged and grinned, walking ahead again while looking over her shoulder so that she could speak to him. “I think you’ve got a place to stay, man. By the way, the name’s Maverick. Who’re you?”
“Sgt. Heavy Fall.”
“Well it’s nice to meet you, Sgt.” Maverick says and looks forward as they walk. “Come on, I’ll give you a place to stay.”
He nods as they walk. “Thank you very much.”
Maverick shrugged and grinned, walking ahead again while looking over her shoulder so that she could speak to him. “I think you’ve got a place to stay, man. By the way, the name’s Maverick. Who’re you?”
“Sgt. Heavy Fall.”
I’ll take yer word for it.
“So, what have you done since you got out?”
Bodyguard work. Merc contracts. Stuff like that.
“Hmm, seems like being a Mercenary would be the best way to use your military skills.”
“Other planets?” Maverick says thoughtfully and looks up at the sky, paying no mind to a group of young fillies that she disrupted with her almost crashing into them. Her curiously puckered lips turned into a toothy grin as she faced Heavy. “Dude, that’s so wizard!”
“Humph, not when insane aliens try to kill the colonies that live there and glass the planet.”
“Service, like military junk?” Maverick asks and looks around to see if any of his military buddies would be joining them. After gathering that the answer to that was a no, she began walking, directing that Heavy should follow. “Tell me more about yourself and we may have an update on your little rooming problem. Where was this little service thing, anyway?”
He follows her. “It was the UESC, we go into wars in other kingdoms and other planets, if problems occur in our colonies. I was specifically an ODST.”
Heavy walks around town, a UESC duffel bag slung over his shoulder and a military uniform on.
Maverick is laying under a tree to get out of the sun and squints her eyes to look through the crowd, seeing if there’s anyone worth tormenting that day. Her eye catches on Heavy and she stops, staring at him for a moment. She figured she probably shouldn’t play a prank on this one, too big and trained-looking to escape unharmed, and so she continues skimming. After another moment of mindless skimming, she sighs and sits up, walking over. What the hell, Maverick thought. I haven’t talked to a stallion in a while. I guess I’m sober enough for some kind of social interaction. She wanders over to him finally and coughs, her voice sound voluptuous yet scratchy as she talks. “Hey there, big dude! Where are you coming from with that huge thing?”
[[Sorry for the long reply! I guess this is kind of an introductory thing for her. ovo]]
He glances at her and turns to face her. “Oh, hello there. Well, i am currently looking for a place to stay. I was just released from service.”
